Because that's how Boomerangs are in Terraria, that's how Red wants it to be. The last thing Ranged needs is to steal a bunch of Melee weapons anyway.
My point is that before 1.4, boomerangs could become a throwing weapon. Maybe that would save this class.
I know and understand, these are just considerations in the past tense. I'm just curious why it was always a melee weapon, not a thrown weapon.
