People's voices sound better to themselves because your brain processes your own voice different than everyone else, that's why if you take a recording of your talking and then play it back, you'll generally hate the sound of your own voice

Also I feel like a thirteen year old girl's voice and a 10 year old boy's voice would be pretty similar, right?
I've never had younger siblings, so I don't know; heck, my older brother just turned 30
