In this recent update that added the Don't Starve items and boss, I found a chest that was generated partially inside a door in one of those underground cabins. Every time I opened and closed the door the chest would break multiple times over. It also was only half of the chest graphic there AND it actually had items in it.

Best part: I play in Journey Mode. So, having the ability to duplicate chests for infinite money was pointless. XD
