when you dash, you get a tiny bit of immunity.
Combine this with overcharge and other self harming damage and you can get a bunch of damage for free.

i mainly just zoomed around with directional sliding and some dashes while charging my piercing revolver (bcs healing)
it was super duper satisfying learning his attack patterns and perfectly dodging them and then blasting him to high hell with the rocket launcher and malice lazer gun thing (yknow the one that does crazy damage)

screwdriver railcannon is super useful for healing because of the constant bleeding and extended healing range
parrying fully heals up to the hard damage mark, even if you don't hit him with his swords.
