Fictional?
Mythical creatures come from myths and urban legends.
The mythical edition of a zombie would probably be a ghoul or vampire, depending on a bunch of factors, but the modern zombies are fictional media characters.
Mythical would imply them being included in a religious/ancient story.
The dead who rose in very old stories were usually rather intellectual and did not desire flesh (for eating at least.) Unless one only rose the spirit, or bare skeletons.
I think the confusion comes from RPGs and other games packing zombies along with fae, dragons and other actually mythical creatures.
