Umm, what mod is it? If you are concerned about biome spread, simply create 4-5 block thick walls out of bricks, snow, wood, cactus, etc...
around the perimeter of the areas you want to quarantine and keep safe.

I'd try purification powder in vast quantities, or if you have a LOT of money to spare (this may not apply to you) get a clentaminator if possible later on. evil and good biomes are absolutely necessary for any form of progression, as otherwise you wil miss out on a lot of good loot and materials, also unable to fight mechs without luck.

Why couldn't we just... summon the scourge of the corruption/hallow (ok, I'm mad now, hallow ISN'T bad!) from a mystical portal, defeat it, and be happy with 0% spread! Is there a mod that stops spread? Is there anything?
