I think I might know what's going on. Those features are from the Vanilla Tweaks mod, but Boss Expertise is a completely separate mod. Try downloading it. Hmm... it seems the problem still persists for me. The Sand Slab Wall's actual name is fixed but the other items still have it.

It seems that with the latest update, every item without a prefix has "Sand Slab Wall" in front of its actual name, yet the actual Sand Slab Wall's regular name remains Sandstone Slab Wall.

On a brighter note in case anyone cared about anything I did I may be around to do stuff more. Maybe story stuff, maybe mod stuff, who knows

I think the idea for the pillars is that there are four different ones in four different parts of the world, which "hold up" or "support" the insane thing that is the final boss. Perhaps you have to destroy all four of these pillars in order to reveal the boss.

I will probably start doing more chapters once 1.3 comes out, since I want to include its content in the story and I need to understand the update in order to do that the right way.
