In expert and master mode, moonlord would shoot out a homing slow moving sphere that if it hits you would flip your gravity for a few seconds
this can be counteracted with gravity potions, but would still be difficult to manage because when the debuff runs out you would need to flip gravity...
If it was real the pressure plate would be the type that breaks, its more of a demo that literally what would appear in game
In my opinion its a pretty logical step for statue traps, I find it cool when spawned skeletons spawn more skeletons because it poses a challenge that's hard to disarm...
The statue mob cap will force it to stop if you cant kill the monster quick enough, but an actual timer would help with the it not becoming overwhelming too
When activated, TNT should ignite and take like 3-5 seconds to explode, they would also light up so you know you've ignited one
This way you get a chance to escape and it wouldn't feel as unfair
A trap that continuously spawns monsters when activated (like when a statue spawns a skeleton that then spawns more skeletons in a loop)
This would provide more challenge than most other traps and introduce the player to how timers work
1.1.2.625854589 is a seed that spawns you in a like, half jungle half forest biome
I've made a lot of worlds and haven't ever found one with an encroaching biome like that, have yall seen this kinda thing before
Good idea, i think they were going for this idea with the town slimes and town pets, but we need more
they could be all kinds of species like goblin and lizhard, some could be pre-built like relatives of the useful NPCs or references
For example, when queen bee is enraged because you left the underground jungle her eyes glow red to show the player her increased difficultly
this would also make the boss' rules clearer, so you know exactly how to enrage it
A secret seed that makes in-game time your computer's time, so if you want to fight skeleton you'll have to do it at actual night time but you'll have an entire real world night to defeat him in
A rare chance for an enemy to spawn with twice the size, health and damage
also add "Giant" to the start of its name, like giant antlion chargers
maybe halve their speed too
Doing certain things in the game unlocks new cursor styles in the settings
Beating the eye of cthulhu gives you an eye cursor, wall of flesh gives you a demon cursor, moonlord gives you a squid cursor and so on
they would be like permanent trophies for players to unlock
i mean the background as well, so the moon and stars have no light, it would also make darkness more oppressive by dampening lights and reducing their range
a pylon that makes darkness pure black and reduces effectiveness of lights
you can also put it in your vanity slot to play a survival horror version of the game
I was thinking of this but it might make it too risky to warrant using
it could also be an interactable station instead of a potion, maybe the alchemy table gives you the still blood effect
Another implementation of this would be an area of effect furniture that slows down buff countdown when...
