In the end, I'd argue that this whole mess is simply the least worst solution the mods could come up with, so I wouldn't fault them for what's happening right now. It's still a real shame though.

That being said, I wholeheartedly agree about how vital social forums have become to TCF RPs and the many strong, tight-knit, and supportive TCF RP communities we've made. I do wish the mods could come up with some better alternative than that very restricting two-thread format, but I understand...

To be fair to the mods, they explained this unfortunate situation politely, one in which there's really no choice in the matter but to remove social forums, and gave us a month and a half forewarning for us to archive the RP section.
