I would highly reccomend getting terraria on pc. Tmodloader is amazing.

In phase 3 where he shoots the homing fireballs I tend to just go in a circle when he's dashing. This makes him and the fireballs will stay pretty near eachother, and then I run in a straight line when he's shooting the fireballs and not dashing.

Either Cobalt or pearlwood due to how weak they are compared to other armors at that point in the game.
