“…August, do you by any chance have any projectile spells or something?” <Oh boy…it seriously is that tree hopper, isn’t it…> Melanie scans the treetops for signs of this familiar someone.

(Here for all of 5 seconds for a post and then I’m popping back out to be a good student) “You’re strong in other ways though!” Melanie looks up, getting a weird feeling. <…What if it’s that weird armored guy from before..> “August, be ready.”

As Melanie runs along, following the trail of Coral, Melanie speaks up. “So uh. How good are you with that sword?”

Melanie slows down, noting Stygian’s observation. “Oh, uh..thanks!” Melanie slows down, waiting for August to get moving.

Melanie nods. “Come on, August!” Melanie dashes off to the forest in the direction Armatura was looking in before.

"I'm...pretty sure I saw that head on a body, earlier." Melanie seems to be saying her thoughts out loud. "...Not sure what the head was talking about, but I...think they mentioned something about someone...making off with their body?" "August, do you think we can give chase?"

(Side note, it's Coral. Funky red liquid.) (It's basically oil but it's sorta sentient and you will get a talking waifu in your head if you even think about drinking it.) (I'm only 25% joking.) (Oh yeah it's also kinda hot and unhealthy to touch and drink in the first place so..uhm.) Melanie...

"I-I don't know!?" "You're dragging me!" "Which is completely fair!" Melanie looks around for the source of the voice...

Melanie, yelping a bit, follows along after half being dragged up and half springing to her feet, half following and half being dragged by August.

"Ooo..is that because the Hallowed Bars make it super sharp..?" (For plot convenience I'm gonna assume said edge is also uh...*checks notes*) ("Near enough to the field Melanie and August are totally not dating in") Melanie looks off towards a strange noise. "...Did you hear that, August?"...

Melanie shrugs. "Maybe your world's Hallow and Corruption are a bit different then..." "My world had neither, so..I'm unfamiliar with both places." Melanie leans back a bit, relaxing on the grass. "..Your sword's made from uh...Hallowed Bars?"

"Just The Corruption. Not the Rooted Corruption." Melanie pauses, checking August's progress on the flower crown. "..We were underground earlier so X could make an ice totem for me as a weapon to help look through that place." "X tells me it's a dangerous place...he implied it was more dangerous...

"Then you just uh... start wrapping your flower stems around the branch!" Melanie waits for August to follow said instructions, before continuing to speak. She does watch August work though. "...Um..so. The Corruption...kinda dangerous place."
