Eh, regardless, I think the Dungeon Defender sentries are the best. The Ballista especially is very good and versatile.

Not intentionally, but I ended up beating him post Moon Lord (post several Moon Lords, actually). With Solar Wings and the S.D.M.G. loaded with chlorophyte bullets, he was pretty easy. Didn't even bother setting up my usual arena goodies with a heart lamp, campfire, honey pit, etc. Just... Went...

Well, I killed the Moon Lord! I built an incredibly long Skybridge, but ended up not using its length at all, since I gave it a roof, the roof was all I needed =P Used the DD2 Knight Armor, Ballistae, and the Solar Eruption. Sitting in honey with all my potions going, a camp fire, and a heart...

Gun - Megashark. I mean, come on, it's a chaingun! Plus that gun combined with crystal bullets pretty much carried me through the first 3/4 of my first run through hardmode, so I have a softspot for it. It also sounds kinda cool. Summoning - Spider staff. These guys are a terror early-mid hard...

My only concern is that since it does piercing, it might give enemies invincibility frames? Does anyone know for sure on this?

Also, use some kind of wall penetrating light source to scout (like jester's arrows), to find natural tunnels and just scout them. Whenever I go looking for Chlorophyte I always seem to see at least a bulb or two.

Oh I'm not worried about the WoF, I'm just trying to do as much preparation as I can to make my journey into hardmode as smooth and easy as possible. Don't want to be building my dungeon farm IN hardmode, for example.
