To anyone having the same or similar problem, if you have tried everything listed above and more and you too can't find a solution, know that I HAVE FOUND ONE. Hopefully, of course, this works for you too as well. I know the feeling of hopelessness, but here is what I did at the end...
Yes, they are, most certainly. I did mention I had 60 hours into the game when it stopped working.
And yes I have tried that as well, not only reinstalling Steam but deleting all game files with it, completely erasing progress everywhere including Terraria save files.
Ohh yeah forgot to add, though it could be a corrupted file as I mentioned other games don't work in the same sense that they stop working, which makes me believe it could be a problem overall like the net adapter but again I am not sure anymore.
I've tried a lot of stuff to make it work, in fact, I've tried almost everything out there to my knowledge. Since other games have similar if not the same problem I figure the issue lies within my PC.
