With the patcher running I have to start steam as administrator or the game won't launch at all. I get an error message. I may have said this before, but thought I'd mention it again. Now I know what to do it is not an issue for me. And when this happens I have to go to task manager to shut the...

It's awesome that Terraria was updated. Now to wait for this to be updated. Some cool new stuff added!

It says the same for me. Just right click the steam desktop icon and click run as administrator. That's what works for me.

I have the best armor for pre hardmode. As for weapons. I tried all different ones. As well as the phoenix blaster. LOL guess I just got bad luck.
