Blocks & Decoration "Common" or naturally spawning things (not ores) can generate Dyed and/or Painted, matching biome.

Just a weird QoL thing which would add variety. Blue dirt, red mud, gold that's reflective gold. you name it. Acid Blue mushroom biome for maximum trippy. For a primitive example, check out this, however the mod's limited depiction can make some items and ores hard to see; and you don't have...

NPCs & Enemies Monster infighting, both natural and inflicted. Expand monster interaction to allow capture&study.

Monster infighting is a concept as classic as DOOM, and prehaps far earlier too. Additional cross-monster-and-player interaction would add another layer of "life" to Terraria, as monsters attack eachother for territory, food sources, and the like. A mock ecosystem, if you will. Adding this to...

Biomes & Nature Celestial Columns: The midway between Pillars and Monoliths; A diffrent summon mechanic and more!

This is mostly a way to skip to the middle of the Lunar Events, without summoning Moon Lord or Cultist, and without giving up the pillar's spawns and drops, nor sacrificing the world's natural spawns; instead greatly amplifying them and their drop rates. This was originally more of a Mod pitch...

Items Mushroom seeds can be crafted into Ore Seeds (similar to Chlorophyte) and a Mycelium Sceptor

Tired of those long walks to mine some ore? Got an abundance of useless dirt, but a bunch of water? Really like the Glowing Mushroom biome? Well, here's your solution. Similar to Chlorophyte, you can now craft "Ore Seeds" based off of the mod of the same name. Like the name suggests, one simply...

NPCs & Enemies Make a Corruption equivilent of the Eye of Cthulhu and make EoC Crimson-Specific.

We've already got most alt bosses. What's one more?

Items Guns can use Mana Upgrades & Shruikens. (alternative, less-cheatlike option to Bottomless Bags)

Gives a reason for gun-users to collect mana. Can craft and upgrade Mana-Draining items out of existing ammo; however only one can be active in your inventory at a time (you just hold them in there to function, similar to the PDA and equivalent items). From there, it will slowly drain your mana...

Biomes & Nature Orbs, Altars and Hearts regenerate if your world has none/player-creatable versions of the prior

Just a random proposition I thought worth noting. I honestly mostly just want relocatable altars (both to build structures for and a convenience thing), Treking all the way to the Crimson/Corruption just to make one item is fairly annoying after a while. Both would be prime for building...

Game Mechanics Re-enable various enviromental hazards and add new ones; as well as active threats to your base.

We all know of how cacti used to hurt on touch. We know how clowns used to blow up houses. We know Overhaul has a lightning and fire system. Stuff like this.
  9. S'AraisVanu

What mods present active threats to your world (including Make Corruptors Great Again and Overhaul)?

Stuff like terrain destruction or biome spreading. Possibility of houses burning down and so on.

Game Mechanics "Node Cluster-ers" for lack of a better name. Pre-Hardmode Mini-Evil Biomespreaders.

So, about those biome-spreading enemies: Two new propositions; both are of the same base genotype as Crimera has to theEater of Souls, (as in, both look similar to each-other but behave a bit differently): "Node Cluster-ers" for lack of a better term. Both are pre-hardmode "enemies", which seed...

tModLoader Which mods expand on Exploration or add to Worldgen?

https://forums.terraria.org/index.php?threads/jerethejugglers-custom-generation.63795/ Here's one that adds a whole bunch. Any more like this?

Biomes & Nature Mini-Dungeons (only openable by Capture the Gem keys)

As the title claims. Miniture dungeons intended to help speed up progression and slightly different spawns. Can enter without killing skeletron, but is locked by Gem Locks.

Other Quick-Roguelike & Tiny World option

This button would automatically generate a world smaller than the current smallest world type. The Roguelike option would allow the player to quickly set up Hardcore characters- but on worlds that automatically deleted themselves and characters that were randomized. You could additionally unlock...

Biomes & Nature Surface Structures for medium/large world. Include uncommon variance for some fitting CC Builds.

After years of playing terraria, one may find the surface, despite caves, pyramids and the like, is still a little monotonous- the most intresting so far being when you find a biome or living tree. Expand upon this via quality builds- be they elaborate structures or smaller chunks. What if the...

Biomes & Nature Additional Mushroom Biomes (not the same as the manual glowing shroom)

Giant Mushroom: Being the equivalent of the red mushrooms found around, this one would essentially be a surface-generated one Vile & Vicious Mini-Biome: Basically just a glowing shroom but for the crimson or corruption. Frozen mushrooms are found in the Snowy areas. Hellshrooms are found in...

Biomes & Nature Implement something similar to Overhaul's Seasons.

It's mostly the reason I play that thing. Each season has slightly differing mechanics than vanilla; with the exception of Spring

Other Contact specific mod makers and see about integrating their mods into the base game.

Some of the pre-existing mods for Terraria are pretty damn good. Maybe you should see about contacting them, implementing their mods into the game, and maybe hiring some of them onto the development team to help with future updates? This would be a good testing bed for the Steam Workshop...

Game Mechanics Return "Biome Spreaders" to the game as an option for players who enjoyed their inclusion.

Some, but apparently not many, enjoyed when Corruptors actually did as their namesake suggested. It allowed the Corruption to be a much more intresting and dynamic threat that was problematic to contain and tried to constrict the player. Returning this to the game as a possible option for...

Any mods that restore the Corruptor's biome-spreading ability and/or add additional enemys that do?

Just curious. I found this to be a very entertaining and memorable part of this enemy, so was saddened to see it removed. I'd like to see biome-spreaders for the corruption and/or celestial pillars too.
