the stats of the whole armor set combine ammount to aproximately + 1 block jump height
combine that with a neglegable fall damage reduction and the total armor of platinum(without the set bonus) and you get a sidegrade at best and a noticable downgrade in most situations
and than give the corrupt mimic an alternative gun
here is an example: corrupt musket
100-75 damage+ shotgun effect after shot
medium-high recoil
slow/very slow firerate
20% crit chance
can the increase of jump speed be higher
3% in total is effectively nothing(maybe 1 block per piece of armor)
and also just a 5 % reduction to fall damage will be barely noticable
maybe 20-30% fall damage decrease and make it so you cant die from fallling

yeah, but skeletron unlocks the dungeon with muuuch more loot
and why spend time farming ninja gear when you can just kill BoC/EoW( all fairly easy bosses) and than make fossil armor or just make crimtane/demonite armor. or just make platimnum/gold armor
slime king is currently the most uninteresting boss because it doesn't have many good drops (or crafted items) so here are some item suggestins to make it more ineresting:
1-fiery slime gun:
made with slime gun and 1 torch(anywhere)
10 ranged damage+ fire
4% crit chance
no knockback
projectiles...
maybe slime armor can be an earlyer ranger armor crafted on a solidifier
stat idea:
helm:3 defense and + 10% rangeer dmg
chest: 4 defense and +10% ranged crit chance
pants: 3 defense and+ 10% chance tonot cosume ammo
set bonus:10% chance(for ranged weapons) to apply raqndom negative effect
also make it so items automatically return to where they were in your inventory
it is extremely annoying to move your pets, hooks and other equipment to where they were
maybe make some "shadow spots"(autlines/transparent versions of dropped items) which would be placeholders for droppe items
