I think this is a very interesting idea, and that it would make sense for if you want to do some sort of challenge without having max health. This could also be done with Mana for another option.

I find that I am having to go through all the Terraria items on the wiki one at a time in order to find the couple of items I am missing, and adding a setting to see what items are left to duplicate in some way would help completionist's get all the items without having to use the wiki. Saying...

I have to use another site to go through them all manually and it takes forever. I think it would be alot better if there was a list of items in game you still need to collect, or something similar.
