If you were to read a bit more of the thread (that was a link, if you didn't see), you'd see that the problems seem to be with Steam-hosted multiplayer.
Is anyone else having trouble with the EoC? I'm playing in Expert online using Steam, and when we kill it it drops nothing (and the Dryad doesn't seem to show up). This is absolutely game-breaking.
I think Joxynox meant to quote Linio's post, the one under yours. New members (like myself) have a bit of difficulty adjusting to the right buttons being underneath posts instead of above them.

Personally, I'd prefer we didn't get the changelog early. The wonder of discovering new things in vanilla Terraria is a rare experience indeed, and I want to savor it. Despite that, it'd be hard to stop myself if it was released early.
