Fishing supported two of my character's reforging bills in 1.3 expert mode so far (at least until you get slime staff/lucky coin farm going). Never underestimate just how much money you can make when you are just trying to make lifeforce potions :D

375 plantera kills for the axe to drop pre 1.3 I did most of this in one sitting.

It's a pretty easy setup to imitate, but it's also fair to say it's a blast to watch :D

gemspark walls are pretty fun to use as lighting when you want ambiance without the punch.

I disagree. Moon Lord in expert is a night and day difference from normal. Also, two loose walls and a ceiling are enough to make you pretty unkillable to anything the marian invasion throws at you :)

On normal he's an absolute walk in the park easy. On expert, he pretty much requires a special arena built around him (you don't have to cheese it, but you GOTTA prep the arena). On one hand I really like bosses that get you to build things - because it plays to the game's strengths. I wish...
