Personally I think that most of the new controls were designed to operate based on the PC cursor, but on mobile we do not have that tool and using the right joystick to emulate it is more complicate than just tap anywhere on the screen.

So, I think that I'm PC it's fine to have a transparent menu but in small screens it's a nightmare, and if you add some dark colors to be texts i.e. the modifiers for the items you should recommend to play with a magnifier glass, I'm playing on a 8' tablet and it doesn't make any difference...

It only happens if the character has a good amount of unlocked recipes, I made a review in Spanish tho, and you can see the bug in the minute 4:15 the first time I'm using my end game character, I open the menu, the game freezes, load some recipes then I try to use other tabs, the game freezes...

It's not so risky if you know what you're doing... And if you have an old device you don't have much to lose, the game can be modded, if anything goes wrong just uninstall it and install it from the store the only thing that could be screwed is the character or world files...
