Try turning your minimap off. On my screen, it draws under the edge of the window with the standard top-right minimap.

It's most likely an issue with your screen resolution, because the Celestial Onion slot draws below the Expert one. The way I usually access it is by disabling the minimap before entering the inventory screen.

How does the Suspicious Golden Key work? I bought it, put it in a chest by itself, and nothing happened.

It shouldn't have too much of an impact, especially if you're just using Calamity alone.
