PS5 “Receiving Tile data” stuck at a certain percentage

I am playing on PS5 and trying to play with my friend. However when either one of us tries to join the other, it gets stuck at the point where it says “receiving tile data” for me it says 40% and his is 60% neither of us have seen it go past that, and eventually we get booted out of the process in entirely with a “lost connection“ screen. I have seen this reported sporadically, with the most recent one being in September on these forums. I still have yet to find a way to fill fix it, and I have gone to uninstalling and reinstalling the game.

Out of curiosity, what sort of Wi-Fi speeds are you both getting? Would you be able to run a test? Also, are you able to join other people besides him? Or is it all sessions you're having trouble with?

I don’t play this game with anyone else so I’m not entirely sure. His download is 89 mbps and his upload is 25. Mine download 121.5 mbps and upload is 21.6
