While we have updates our Discord, we have failed to update this forum post. Apologies!
Below I've included a few spoilers with the change-logs. We will also update the forum post with some more juicy spoilers soon!
Update v0.1.3
- Added new UI.
- Fixed minor typos.
- More optimizations!
- Added cross mod compatibility.
- Added better soul overview to new UI (smooth scrolling).
Update v0.1.4
- Adds debuff for red and blue soul active cooldowns.
- Adds new visuals and audio for souls.
- Adds increased grab range for souls.
- Adds new UI flair for the Soul Index.
- Charging souls no longer drop through platforms.
- Souls can now be unequipped by right-clicking on them in the UI.
- Fixed some issues with Pre-HM souls.
- Fixed bug in UI which crashes Terraria.
Update v0.1.5
- Added all HM mob souls.
- Added Soul Index UI draggability.
- Added hotkey to open Soul Index UI.
- Added close button to Soul Index UI.

- Updated UI scale/size.
- Updated soul mana usage (no longer takes mana usage reduction into account).

- Fixed lots of bugs with Pre-HM souls.

This latest release got us very excited, since this releases all HM mob souls, making for an almost complete soul-playthrough experience! This calls for a party?

ik there are some mods that have items that can only be obtained through chests
 
Have you thought of another name? The Enigma mod adds a class called the Mystic, maybe the Hunter class works

With the current state of the mod you won't need a new world; everything is dropped by vanilla NPCs (both bosses and mobs).

Have you thought of another name? The Enigma mod adds a class called the Mystic, maybe the Hunter class works
Not really sure if we're thinking about changing the mod name. `Hunter class` might be a little bit misleading, since this mod is not necessarily adding a new class 🤔
I'll converse with Terratroid about this though, thanks for the input!
 
Also, a real quick update since there's been a new version release: v0.1.5.1 🥳
This update took a little longer, but we're picking up from where we left off.

For the next few updates, we will be focussing on the event-related mobs and bosses, and are starting with... Weather events (think rain, sandstorm, etc)!

Update v0.1.5.1
- Adds HM boss souls.
- Adds HM boss accessories.
- 10% chance to drop from bosses, except:
- 5% chance to drop from WoF and Moon Lord.
- Adds the Soul of the Damned, which replaces the Reaper Gauntlet.

- Fixes Eater of Souls soul spawn bug.

- Updates visuals and functionality of existing accessories.
- Updates Skeletron (Prime) soul behaviour with better damping.

Two updates have been released since I've last posted here; I've included their changelogs below.

Update v0.1.6
- Adds Rain event mob souls.
- Adds Sandstorm event mob souls.
- Adds Frost Legion event mob souls.

- Adds Soul Index Preset/Collection functionality.
> You will keep your unlocked souls, but your slot-page will be reset.

- Updates and improves (mainly blue) soul interaction.
Update v0.1.6.1
- Adds Goblin Army mob souls.
- Adds Pirate invasion mob souls.
- Adds Martian Madness mob souls.

- Fixes Blood Jelly soul (and other yellow souls) cooldown.
- Fixes Blue and Red soul mana consuming upon failed cast.

Terra and I are conversing about and contemplating a little secret surprise. More info about that later!
 
We back in this as we're nearing the 1.0 release of the mod; this latest update adds a LOT of new souls + some much needed QoL content.
Next release will include some more QoL and graphical updates, and the Old One's Army NPC souls.

- Adds Blood Moon event souls.
- Adds Lunar Events event souls.
- Adds Solar Eclipse event souls.

- Adds SoulConfig
> Adds configurable slider for soul drop chance (1%-50%, server-side).
> Adds guaranteed soul drop configuration for NPCs (server-side).
> Adds configurable position for Soul Index button (client-side).

- Fixes Crimslime description.
- Fixes Zombie soul graphically.
- Fixes Elf Archer soul arrow not damaging enemies.
- Fixes selected soul configuration not being saved.
- Fixes multiplayer sync issue for certain blue souls.
- Optimizes soul data handling (singleplayer and multiplayer).

It doesn't make any changes to vanilla code. The only real 'clash' we're aware of is with SSC (Server Side Characters) which is non-game breaking, but will not allow you to force existing characters to start with nothing (they will still be able to use the souls they acquired in single-player). Other than that, you should have no problems!

Hello everyone its me Terratroid one the makers of this mod which has been, and should be dead however it has appeared on the workshop on steam by "Eldrazi" which i'm not sure is the real deal or not. I recommend avoiding this as I did not give an permissions to use my assets and other things nor was i ever contacted a head of time about all this I just want to warn everyone and be careful about what you download.
 
I'll be looking forward to using this mod in the new tmodloader IF it does end up getting updated. This mod seems seriously so damn cool. But I can probably assume that you all might have moved on to bigger things in life.
