"Eater of Worlds expert mode Vile Spit damage has been reduced."

Thank god.
We mopped the floor with the Brain of Cthulu on our normal mode world and then got our crap pushed in by the Eater of Worlds on Expert despite Molten/Gold armor and decent pre-hardmore weapons.

We didn't know if we were just that bad at the game.

Hmm, never really saw the problem with the Eater of Worlds. Granted I had molten when I jumped over to a Corruption world to gather up some corrupt bricks and get the worm scarf, but he was kind of pathetic. No arena, no potions. I just dropped a Sunfury and sat on it and the EoW killed himself on it in 10-15 seconds. I never even dropped below 75% health.

Problem is, Sunfury should technically be one of the last things you get.
It comes from a shadow chest, meaning you need to beat Skeletron, a harder boss.

Should be doable with a Ball O' Hurt and some potions. Alternatively, get the Amazon, Code 1, or Cascade and a counterweight.

Ok, sure. 1.3.0.5 is out. On Steam. I have GOG. It's still on 1.3.0.4. So now i cant connect to my own server.

Dammit gog y u be so slow

Is this really the last hotfix? Finally! :dryadcool:

Now, the next real update (after you guys get your deserved rest) should be to make the worlds loop around. Go from one end of the world and appear in the other. Would make Minecart roller coasters even more fun to make and ride. Maybe even have the final Boss able to scale to your average speed, making the fight as we ride the endlessly on our minecarts even fun (Like that Frilled Lizard boss in La-Mulana, kinda). I dunno why that's missing. Maybe it got talked about once. And if I missed that being mentioned before once, I hope someone here doesn't mind letting me know about it.

When will the borderless window issue be addressed? I find it frustrating to lose my mouse to my other monitor during the middle of furious boss battles.

One other suggestion: if you're going to revamp Moon Lord, why not give him phases like the moon? Different attack phases, minion spawning, etc... might make it a more interesting boss to fight.

Thanks for the updates and keep up the good work.
If you're having issues following your mouse I suggest enabling 'thick mouse edges'.
Go to the 'my documents/my games/terraria' folder, open 'config.json', and change "ThickMouseEdges" to true, then start up the game, I believe you'll like that :)

The final boss has 3 patterns in code, 2 of them are disabled right now because he has been deemed 'too frustrating' for common people to try and stick against with the pattern changing every time you fight him. (also, you don't even want to know what his in-development attacks were, in short we can say I kind of went overboard... )

Celestial Sigil is a good change. Although with this new LUnar event, it really felt like the ultimate challenge. Like an old-school level that you had to beat start to finish in order to reach the boss.

Dungeon is just a box of loot, Temple was a smaller box, but more tedious (especially if you're trying to loot the traps) and with more deliberate "farm this golem" shenanigans with the dozen summons you get for it by the time you reach the final chamber.

With the Lunar Event previous to Sigil, there was actually a tough challenge to reach the true final boss of the game now. Every zone had important things you had to learn and focus on in order to beat it.

This event really blew my mind when it happened to me, I had no idea what was going on, it was scary and it was everything that "end-game" should be imo. I don't think the final end-game should have become farmable. It reminded me of those "end of the world" zones from old RPGs where you can't go back or save any further from the point of no return. Now you use all your failures to buy Sigils with excess fragments.

I should also mention that it was the first time I felt like I actually had to bother with a Railway. An event spanning the entire length of the world (especially on Large), definitely needed to build a rail-way. Every major event of the game tends to involve manipulating your environment as a core element (such as setting up the right boss arena... blocking Moon Lord's lasers with some dirt walls on my arena felt awesome!). Now this change has put less importance on a rail-way / sub-way.

Seedler bug-fix... That is funny to me. Seedler tore the game apart up until Possessed Hatchet, but POssessed Hatchet feels balanced for the part of the game whcih you have it.

wow @Yoraiz0r you were not kidding about going overboard lol

btw, are there plans to incorperate the new ivy chest loot into the jungle crates (from fishing)? I have 2 new expert worlds and neither of them have the flower boots, I would love to be able to fish them up as RNG seems to really not like me at this point
