You got Kira skills or The real Death Note : defeat a boss with a spell book (Death Note reference)

Everybody lies, the doctor knows it: defeat 50 mobs with a nurse costume and a gem staff (dr. House reference)

The cake is a lie: fall into lava after eating a Pumpkin Pie (Portal reference)

Captain - Kill Pirate invasion without dying
cool Guy - snowman killer without dying
goblin killer- without dying You shall Kill goblins
pump king - wire 100 pumps To a activator
Hall'o'ween - pumpkin medalgion active
costume contest finale - 15 waves on pumpkin moon
pumpking killer - wave 15 without dying on pumpking moon
Santa-NK1 is coming To town - nayghty present active
frozen - 20 waves of frost moon
nayghty boy - 20 wave on frost Moon without dying
terror of litzards - Kill golem
 
I do have a question: How will achievements work in this game? Will it be based per character, per world, or both? It would make sense to have them apply to a character, but there might be some cool achievements for a given world to have. For example, cleaning a world from all the impurities could be considered one.

I think it will be like steam achievments... so per user not per player/world
 
would be nice to have a note saying you did something good.

Trickshooter: kill 100 total enemies by bouncing a projectile off a wall.
Random hit: kill an enemy that is off screen.
musician: use the magic harp while having the fairy pet.
here and gone: use a teleporter.

(i dont know if any of theese have already been taken, they just came into my mind).

"I think you've got the right angle here." - Complete X fishing Quests
"Are you sure you're not hooked?" - Complete more fishing Quests than previous
"Master of Potionating." - Craft/Obtain at least one of every potion

One Lucky Terrarian: Obtain the Slime Staff.
Eye surgery gone wrong!: Beat the Eye of Cthulhu.

He's just trying to help!: Beat the Wall of Flesh. (The ''He'' is the guide.)
You're a good boy by helping an old man!: Defeat Skeletron.
Worms aren't a big deal, I fish with them!: Defeat the Eater of Worlds.
Couln't help but killing a mother bee: Kill the Queen Bee.

You think it was necessary?: Kill a bunny.
Robots are the future? Well this robot is hopefully not the future!: Kill The Destroyer.

So, first a flower now a fish? This is getting ridiculous!: Defeat Duke Fishron.

ANOTHER TREE? Plant, Fish and Tree, what's next? Santa claus tank?: Defeat Everscream.
So I was right wasn't I?: Defeat Santa-NK1.
Player: 2 Queens: 0. No one can stop me now!: Defeat Ice Queen.
A tree? I have no words.: Defeat Mourning Wood (that sound weird)
A moon event? Well that's something you don't see everyday.: Defeat the Lunar Event. (Like go to wave 15 or however it works)
The sun is blocked and everything wants to kill me?: Get a solar eclipse.
So the moon is red, everybody mad.: Get a blood moon.
It's right from the heavens. And also VERY hot.: Gather Meteorite.
You can no fly infinitely, well not really.: Get wings.
Who needs doctors?: Get 1 crystal heart.
I've been searching for AGES. Still no doctors needed.: Get 400 life.
Fruit is heathy, it's all gold now.: Get 500 life. (This is ANOTHER reference to shrek, or shrek is love shrek is life.)
Who you gonna call?: Die in Hardcore and become a ghost.
I ain't afraid of no Ghost!: Kill Ghost (Halloween-only enemy)



These are the ones I could think of, I hope you think about them. ;)

The Insane Farmers
-Use 5000 total silt on an extractinator.
-Collect every Mount
-Collect every summoner staff
-Collect every Pet
-Complete a Stack of Platinum Coins
 
I've been thinking about potential achievements, and while some of the suggestions I've seen are great, none of them are truly inspiring or promote an alternative way to play the game. In fact, a lot of them you would obtain just by playing the game normally.
So I've been thinking up some ideas and this is what I've got so far. Hopefuly these would be fun to work for?

Ice Melt: Reach Wave 12 in the Frost Moon using only fire-based weaponry.
Don't need no bling: Kill a boss without taking damage, using only white-rarity weapons and ammo.
Active Pacifist: Kill a boss without using any weapons or minions.
True Active Pacifist: Kill a hardmode boss without using any weapons or minions.
Metal will never die: Kill Plantera, scoring the final blow with the Axe.
Resourceful Explorer: Kill any boss with a new character on a new world on the first night (no relogging allowed, think Yri's first night videos)
Headshot: Kill an enemy with at least 600 health in one shot using the Sniper Rifle.
Heart Attack: Take no damage after stepping on a naturally-placed explosive trap.

Just some ideas for now, I'm sure I can think up more.

"Foundations of Stone" - Collected xx stone blocks. [Where 'xx' represents the quantity in numbers] - (inspired by Tolkien's The Lord of The Rings - The Two Towers)
"An Eye for a... Mouth?" - Killed the 'Eye of Cthulu'!
"Pot happened?!?" - Prepared a x potion. [Where 'x' represents the name of a potion]
"A terrible night indeed." - Killed 'The Twins'!

All my loving for Terraria! Keep up the good job of developing the greatest masterpiece of games in this gender.

I know that is not related to the subject but you guys could make the shots ricochetiasem in lightsabers.

Here is a list that I think might help the update.
I think that if the new event is like the others, the final wave should have exclusive enemies.
There should be something exclusive to the day (day can be boring sometimes)
Shadow orbs/ crimson hearts should grow back every time it rains.
There should be natural disasters (Such as Earthquakes, forest fires,, volcano eruptions, ect...)
There should be a biome that travels.
There should be a night or new event that makes slimes king and makes them super strong.

That is part of my list that I think should be part of terraria 1.3.

Crimson Heart/Shadow Orbs aren't plant,and one world can create enough for you to collect weapons and accessories.
what do you mean " a biome that travels. "
 
The purifier! - earned for using clemtaminator!
Brainless Cthulu - earned for defeating brain of cthulu
I'm a rainbow! - earned for killing a rainbow slime
