Also I'm pretty sure you guys will be adding every achievement that's already on console so I won't bother mentioning them.

Out of this World: Survive every kind of Lunar event with less than 200 HP.

You came to the wrong neighbourhood: Get killed for the first time in hard-mode.

Red Alert: Your World has a lot of Crimson!

You're probably going to die...: Have every De-buff on at the same time

Magician: Use every Magic Consuming Item in the game(Could Use this title for a more challenging achievement)

Hawkeye: Use every Ranged Weapon(Could Use this title for a more challenging achievement)

Weapon Master: Use every Melee Weapon(Could Use this title for a more challenging achievement)

I've been looking forward to achievements in-game! I have some achievements I've thought of (just now, actually)

Love is in the Air: Throw a Love Potion at every NPC (excluding Santa, cause he's exclusive to Christmas)

By the Light!: Obtain a Paladins Hammer and Paladins Shield

Chug it, Chug it!: Drink a whole stack of Ale in under a minute (30 is a stack)

Platinum Touch: Gain a whole stack of Platinum Coins!

Taste the Rainbow!: Kill any mob with the Rainbow Gun

???: Kill any mob with Scourge of the Corruptor

???: Kill any mob with the Piranha Gun

???: Kill any mob with the Vampire Knives

Freeze!: Kill any mob with Staff of the Frost Hydra

Going too Far...: Land a killing blow on a Mourning Wood with the Golden Shower

Where do you Think YOU'RE Going?!: Try to escape the Wall of Flesh (Recall Potion or Magic Mirror)

Last Laugh: Kill a Clown with the Bananarang

Their is no wave 20, Its just wave 15.

Hello there! My name is Alu, and I, and my friend Madness decided to help you guys a bit! We truly believe this game deserves a lot of achievements. Both progression-based and other. I don't think it needs A LOT of progression achievements, because Terraria already does a good job at guiding the player through the game, but I couldn't stand them. So, here is a nice list of all the stuff I could create. I tried to make all of them easy to implement, if some achievements are hard to implement - I'm sorry. But still, I hope to see at least some of them in your game after the 1.3 update. I plan on updating this list even further if I happen to think some more achievements.
I'm also sorry that this list doesn't include achievements for new events, such as Lunar event, or new mobs and machines. I didn't want to think stupid achievements without knowing what I am working on, so I didn't include them.
And @Cenx, I dunno how you're going to read ~80 pages, but good luck with that. HA HA HA!

Here's a few ideas.


Doesn't feel so good now does it? - Kill Paladin with Paladins Hammer.
Baby Slime's First Kill - On any boss, let the baby slime from the slime staff get the final hit.
Musical Death - Kill Plantera with The Axe
This is Too Easy! - Kill the Eye of Chthulu with Turtle, Shroomite, or Spectre armor on.
Stop Hitting Yourself! - Kill Golem with Golem's Fist.
Keep Them Safe! - Go through a blood moon without any NPCs dieing.
Killed By your own curse. - With the clothier voodoo doll equipped, kill the clothier with the Book of Skulls.

Those are all of my ideas. (Also, put every achievement from the console versions. Or at least some of them)

There could be like ''First Night or Second Night'' achievements.

ex: Skeletron dead in the 1st night (You can make a better name)

Defeat Skeletron (or any other boss) on your first night (or second)!

A few other:

''Trusty Map'' - Explore the whole map
''True Warrior'' - Get the best Melee gear
''True Wizard'' - Get the best Mage gear
''True Ranger'' - Get the best Ranged gear
''All moved in!'' - Get all NPC's to move in
''All Terraria items'' - Gather all Terraria items (THIS WILL BE ONE HARD ACHIEVEMENT).
''All Biomes'' - Discover all of the biomes
''Who's the Pumpking now?'' - Reach the final wave in the Pumpkin Moon Event
''Who's the Queen now?'' - Reach the final wave in the Frost Moon Event
''Nice catch!'' - Defeat Duke Fishron
''More like Failtera'' - Defeat Plantera
''True Nyan Cat fan'' - Gather all of the Rainbow weapons
''Vanity is Insanity'' - Gather all Vanity items
''Armor is love, armor is life'' - Gather all of the armor
''Look at me, I'm a bird!'' - Gather all of the wings
''True demon killer'' - Kill 666 demons
''True Mechanic'' - Make a invention with wire

You should also take some achievements from the console versions if you like.
Note: I worked on this text for 45 minutes, lol.

Well, the name is really silly and catchy, it's the first thing that came to my mind, so it's not surprising someone already used it!

And thanks! I worked on them for quite a long time, good to see someone saying "good job". Hopefully, the devs will notice this too.
 
I've got a few ideas...

You'll poke your eye out...: Defeat the eye of Cthulu.
Wormsign: Defeat the Eater of Worlds
With Strange Aeons...: Defeat the Brain of Cthulu
Redemption: Defeat Skeletron.
Apicide: Defeat Queen Bee.
Heart of Darkness: Defeat the Wall of Flesh.
Blinded: Defeat the Twins.
This it it, the Apocalypse...: Defeat the Destroyer.
King of Bones: Defeat Skeletron Prime.
Unchecked Growth: Defeat Plantera.
The Truffle Shuffle: Defeat Duke Fishron.
Bad Moon Rising:Finish a Blood Moon without dying.
Total Eclipse of the Heart:Finish a Solar Eclipse without dying.
Protector: Defeat the Goblin Invasion without any NPCs dying.
Admiral: Defeat the Pirate Invasion without any NPCs dying.
Trick or Treat:Finish the final wave of the Pumpkin moon.

In addition, I've got a few achievements that are for accomplishing non-boss related feats...

Powered by a Forsaken Child:Craft an item containing Souls. (Souls of Night, Sight, Might, etc.)
Landlord:Have 4 NPCs living in your world.
Mayor:Have 8 NPCs living in your world.
Doge:Have 12 NPCs living in your world.
King:Have 16 NPCs living in your world.
Imperator:Have all 20 NPCs living in your world (Not including Santa Claus, Travelling Merchant or Old Man)
You Monster:Kill the Clothier to resummon Skeletron.
Big Game Hunter:Acquire every boss trophy.
LIFE IS WASTED ON THE LIVING!: Die 100 Times.

Hopefully these are good ideas!

Cool but what is it and you need to give a description of it. Like Damage and HP, Also no offense it looks a bit weird? Mabey it could come in with the alien event in 1.3? Not sure but none the less its cool. But please give a description.

OCD: Spend 5 minutes organizing a chest
Licked: You can't run from the wall...
Proof of Purchase: Obtain every boss trophy in the game
The Chosen One: Obtain the Enchanted Sword
I believe: Craft a set of wings.
Goodbye forever: Die in hardmode.
That was close: Survive having your health reduced to 1.
Oh, geez: Survive having your health reduced to 1 in hardmode.

Boss Achievements:
King me: Defeat King Slime.
Eye for an eye: Defeat the Eye of Cthulhu.
Eat that: Defeat the Eater of Worlds.
Curse lifted: Defeat Skeletron.
Headache: Defeat the Brain of Cthulhu.
That's gotta sting: Defeat Queen Bee.
Gross...: Defeat the Wall of Flesh.
Did you see that?: Defeat the Twins.
Sticks and stones: Defeat Skeletron Prime.
Destroyed: Defeat the Destroyer.
Harvested: Defeat Plantera.
Tomb raider: Defeat Golem.
Duke it out: Defeat Duke Fishron.
(these could also be for aquiring the trophies of these bosses.)
