Maybe he collects taxes from your NPC´s and gives it to you? You are giving them a place to live and make sure they are staying save I think this should be rewarded with some tax income

Quick question: does the steam integration allow us to host a server through steam rather than having to use the dedicated software and the use of either port-forwarding or Hamachi, or is that still required? I remember seeing an answer a few days ago, but I can't seem to find it now.

I think it's for dedicated servers, which by themselves are easy to make.
