Resolved [1.4.3] [Xbox One] Eye bone not summoning right pet

I recently defeated the Deerclops and got the eye bone. When I use the item, it instead summons the shadow mimic chest pet

Hi there @Terra_Player do you happen to have the shadow mimic pet in your pet slot (see screenshot of equipment)? The eye bone pet is working fine for me.

This is on mobile, not sure if Xbox is experiencing the issue only.

Yes! Thank you for helping me. I did not know pet items equipped into the inventory. Although, I do think that if you use the staff, it should summon the pet via the item you are using, and not the item in the pet slot

I’m glad that fixed it for you. Yeah, using the staff of the pet will only summon that pet if the pet slot is empty. If there’s something in the pet slot, that pet will be summoned.
