PS4 [1.4] WHY IS IT SO LAGGY????

It is running slower than my grandma when she sees me at the door. Okay i dont know why but its so slow like hard to enjoy maybe if they fixed it I would actually be happy with it. Please tell me if theres a way to fix it.
 
Not a staff member but if it helps you can try zooming in as well as changing the render mode from color to trippy and possibly turning off backgrounds and that, hope that helps.
 
I have it on ps4 aswell, it's only in hardmode tho, never had a single framedrop in pre-hardmode.
Even then it's never an issue since its only sometimes a frame dropping here and there.

(Exept when you use the daedulus stormbow with holy arrows [against the destroyer preferably hehe] but then its just hilarious to watch the ps4 just :red:ting itself but thats understandable lol)
