When a player shoots The Bee's Knees while wearing frost armor bees should be lit with blue particles from the Frostbite effect.
In multiplayer, the bees will only show the Frostbite effect on the bees to the player firing the weapon.
This bug was brought to my attention by Yoraiz0r.
In this case, the game is doing with spawned bees exactly what Yoraiz0r said is not supposed to happen.
Bee Gun does the same thing except bees are changed to magic. It may result in similar bugs.

Normally bees don't have a damage type, but bees from The Bee's Knees are changed to count as a ranged projectile.manually editing a projectile's flags after having spawned it, does not sync those changes in multiplayer. In particular, if the shot is to be enchanted visually (such as the case of frost armor) it would not show up for other players, nor would its calculations include the modifications if calculated on the server's side.
