is it pixel art? I know you can use something like pixilart and just upscale it there and it wont look bad (make sure you make it the right dimensions)i cant enter my submission since the file's so small and if i upscale it it looks like dog

Greetings Terrarians! We have so much to celebrate!Tomorrow will mark the 11th anniversary of the Terraria Community Forums (TCF). Also, this year marks the 10th anniversary of when 1.3 was released. Amazing to think it's been ten years since our friends, the martians, have joined the game. With Halloween coming up we wanted to combine everything everywhere all at once.
Trick or treat Terrarians! Let's have a Terrarian Martian Halloween contest!No matter what category, this is a Terrarian Martian Halloween contest, so your entry should reflect Terraria and Martians and Halloween for the best chance to win. You are welcome to enter more than one category - however you can only win in one! If someone is a winner in more than one category, we will award them the prize for the category that they did the best in.

- Pumpkin Carving - Create a Pumpkin Carving that is Terraria Martian themed.
- Costumes - Create a real life Terraria Martian themed costume.
- Artwork - Includes all art - traditional drawing, painting, digital, pixel, sculptures, music, video, etc.
- Builds - Buildings and in-game creations created within Terraria itself.
- Submissions should be:
- Entered before Sunday, November 2, 2025 at 11:59 pm ET.
- Themed around Terraria and Martians and Halloween.
- PG-13 - nothing inappropriate, sexual, profane, or offensive.
- Sent through Google Forms.
- Your own original work. No plagiarism. No AI generated content.
- Other Details
- You may choose to share your entry on TCF or on other platforms if you'd like, but all entries must be submitted through Google Forms to count.
- For Pumpkin Carving and Costume entries, please ensure that at least one image displays a card/paper on which you have written the username with which you are entering the contest. This will serve to verify that your entry is an original creation.
- You may resubmit your entry and/or change categories to make any changes as many times as you wish as long as it is before the deadline. After this time, your most recent submission will be the one counted as an entry.
- You are welcome to enter more than one category - however you can only win in one! If someone is a winner in more than one category, we will award them the prize for the category that they did the best in.
- Winners and Runner Ups will be announced on the Terraria Community Forums on November 18.
A Google Account is required for submitting
- Visit our Google Forms submission link: Enter the 2025 Terraria Martian Halloween Contest
- Select which platform you are from (Terraria Community Forums, Reddit etc.)
- Provide your username based on the platform you are from (Ensure you follow the instructions written in the form)
- Upload an image or images of your creation to each category that you wish to enter (You may submit up to 5 images for each category).
- Click "Submit"
One Winner in each category will receive:
- $100 to Terraria - The Official Merch Store
- The Painter forum title (if a TCF username is included with submission)
Two Runners-Up in each category will receive:
- $50 to Terraria - The Official Merch Store
- The Painter forum title (if a TCF username is included with submission)
All participants will receive
- The new Martian Saucer forum title (if a TCF username is included with submission)
