Console 3 Player Split-Screen

When I have done 3 Player Split-Screen with two other of my friends, I noticed that the 1st player got the whole upper half of the screen while the second ( ME ) and third players got a quarter of the bottom screen. Please make it so everyone gets the same amount of space. Like if there are 3 players each player gets a quarter and then in one of the quarters, have a black box, or the Terraria logo or something. This is feedback but I've been a little confused about where to put it. Thanks. :-D

I don't really get why you'd rather have a blank box than one of the players having a wider screen.
