When the game saves it has test some things and sometimes that test fails causing it redo the test. The next patch May double the amount of time it takes to save.Any news or updates on why saving might be taking so long at different times
Considering the only actual bad thing about Mobile is the controls, which is a moot point since the 3DS version actually has great controls, I see no reason this is a negative thing.I don't think that this is necessarily a bug, but why is terraria for 3DS a mirror of Terraria mobile? That's stupid, vita has the same price tag yet it's the console version.
I personally LOVE that its a mobile port, as such we get almost all the pets mobile users get. bigger pet collection for collectors and what not, plus the new items for the 3ds version that will likely come when they release the main bugfix update and fix all the problems. though personally i would have liked to see a three stage majora fight, one using similar ai to the eye of cthulhu, second having ai comparable to skeletron, and third having AI comparable to Skeletron prime. or the moon lord. But thats just me.Considering the only actual bad thing about Mobile is the controls, which is a moot point since the 3DS version actually has great controls, I see no reason this is a negative thing.
Exactly, the Mobile port is well done. For both the 3DS and most smartphones, the job of getting a game like Terraria to be able to run reliably on weaker systems is already an impressive feat in and of itself, and when the developers doing that also add some extra treats here and there to make up for any shortcomings due to system limitations, that's in no way a bad thing.I personally LOVE that its a mobile port, as such we get almost all the pets mobile users get. bigger pet collection for collectors and what not, plus the new items for the 3ds version that will likely come when they release the main bugfix update and fix all the problems.
dyes may not be possible but you can still make the thread required to make the outfit. that doesn't require dye as that is created with jungle grass seeds.been trying to get the Zapinator...no luck yet lol.
by the way...seeing as dyes weren't possible in this version how do I make the Hero's clothes?
But shouldn't we get the console experience since we paid more money? Is it worth the 13$ extra dollars for a different controller?I personally LOVE that its a mobile port, as such we get almost all the pets mobile users get. bigger pet collection for collectors and what not, plus the new items for the 3ds version that will likely come when they release the main bugfix update and fix all the problems. though personally i would have liked to see a three stage majora fight, one using similar ai to the eye of cthulhu, second having ai comparable to skeletron, and third having AI comparable to Skeletron prime. or the moon lord. Mobile is the same as Console, with a few extra exclusives. Mobile should technically cost more, but it doesn't since Mobile games in general cost less money. But shouldn't we get the console experience since we paid more money? Is it worth the 13$ extra dollars for a different controller?
It is a bug. You can see them spawning and then despawning on the map.beverage reminder? lol. but ok I'll try.
I've found that I rarely ever see the swamp thing during Solar Eclipses. not sure if it's a bug or not.
Thats a long test it takes from 5seconds to 10min. 4-5 min on averageWhen the game saves it has test some things and sometimes that test fails causing it redo the test. The next patch May double the amount of time it takes to save.

Oh. Must have missunderstood what developers saidWhere the heck did you get this from?
The game does some tests during the initial world generation, not when it is saving the game. And I don't remember anyone saying that it would take longer to save in the new patch either. If anything, they are trying to reduce the save times aren't they?
Quoting what was said about the world gen:
"One quick note about the initial world gen:
On rare occasions, you might notice this takes twice as long as normal. This is because once the world is generated, the game runs a few tests on it. On odd occasions, these tests are failed and the game dumps that world and starts again. So this is a different issue to the long save times some of you are seeing."
