I love the ideas, Sky Islands/Space needs a bit to spruce it up
Only thing I don't like is the trees, for some reason it feels a bit weird compared to the other tree types, tho I understand what you're going for

Sky islands and space are super cool but I always wished space would be made a bit taller, like even 100 tiles taller, cause it’s such a neat area but there’s no room to build anything there. If we got a sky island overhaul I’d love a space overhaul as well.

fun fact: using Tedit you can actually make the upper limit of worlds quite a lot bigger, and also widen the world a lot

Cloud Bunnies are adorable and I always support pylon/critter suggestions, so I’d love this

Sky islands are really cool, but it's sort of sad how the sky lacks anything unique aside from 10 items or so. Since it would be a bit too much work to add in something like a boss, I instead propose smaller things, such as making it look more distinct from just purity.

To give examples of this, I made a grass variant sprite sheet and a pylon sprite for the sky, as a way of showing how the sky could look:

As an example of how this would look, here is an artist's (me) recreation of the tiles manually editted onto a real sky island, along with drawing the trees to fit the sky more as well:

I've also made a Bunny Variant, because it can be made even cuter than Angora texture pack, and must be added to the game. We cannot be robbed of this.

do people REALLY care that much about butterflies, birds, and worms? (also, enchanted nightcrawler exists).

zombies and slimes are kind of capable of just being replaced with harpies and balloon slimes

A Sky boss would be cool too. Imagine Eye of Cloudthulhu. Or a space boss. Though I don't think they're really seeking to add major content such as a boss. I really like the sky update idea though.
