Currently playing local multiplayer on Xbox Series X with horizontal split screen with one other person. We've done a few playthroughs on 1.4.4.9 and here are some things we've noticed... sorry for the lengthy post.
1) Unique weather-based background effects tend to remain behind on one player's screen even when out of said weather (this even occured if the other player was never in the weather.) We have seen this on Sandstorms, Blizzards, Slime Rain, and the Aether background wierdly enough
2) Void Bags, Void Vaults, the Flying Piggy Bank (placed piggy banks are fine), And the Eye Bone "Chester" pet when NEAR player 2 or in use by player 2 will cause Player 1 to be unable to use ANY interactions such as pylons, chests, doors, NPC dialogue, etc. Player 1 using or being near these items has shown no impact on Player 2's ability to interact with things
3) I saw someone else mention this in a post, but when zoomed in most of the way, the direct cursor seems to move incredibly slow and sometimes won't allow you to place blocks beneath your player or further than a few blocks in front of you
These are all things ive tested with online multiplayer and single player and didn't notice any of this going on during those playthroughs
