(not sure if items really applies here but it deals with a couple items in the game.)
I'd like to be able to turn those dart traps into something that could be more fun or more nefarious.
Can either take the normal traps (dart, super dart, flame, etc) to a tinker's workbench (or to the shimmer pool) to make an Empty (name) trap. You can then craft this empty trap into various other types of traps. craft an empty dart trap with, say, musket balls to make a bullet trap (or craft it with HV bullets to get a Sniper Trap though that might be reserved for the empty super dart trap) and then there is the guy who wants to watch the world burn who'll turn around and craft it with Mini nukes... or cluster rockets.
The fun side of this. crafting these with non harmful items like the smoke bombs so it lobs out a smoke bomb that goes off.
The crafted traps (namely the ones with projectiles or otherwise) would be hazardous to all players even the one who placed it.
Why would I want this? add more that can be done with the various traps.
I'd also like to be able to hammer the player sensor so that it can detect not just up but left, right, and down so as to make some more interesting adventure maps (for one) but to also make the player sensor a little more versatile.
The main idea here with these things is to give the people who build adventure maps some new traps to use. I know that I'd like to be able to use some of these myself for a build that I'm working on.
Feedback is welcome would like thoughts of others to flesh these two ideas out more.
