The Destroyer
Welcome to a Guide to All Things Celestial, where you will learn about, well, all things celestial.
There are four kinds of celestial pillars in the dimension of Terraria. Nebula, the embodiment of the birth of a star, Solar, the embodiment of a bright and living star, Vortex, the embodiment of the death of a star, and Stardust, the embodiment of the remains of a star. These pillars are formed from the rulers of the four celestial powers, of the same names and classifications, to give power to their forces when attacking a system. Very rarely, more than one celestial power will occupy a planet, however they will usually split it up, and rivalries might fight for complete control.
Selenian
The most simple unit of the Solar Army, this low-class Opticae wields two swords that it uses to attack. It can also utilize them to reflect projectiles thrown at it, reflecting them at the aggressor. This can prove useful when invading.
Drakanian
These Opticae fashion a large spear, reminiscent of the Daybreak, that they use to quickly jab at those who fight back the Solar Army. They are usually seen riding a Drakomire.
Drakomire
Drakomires are savage beasts, charging fiercely to keep attackers away. They also can summon solar flares meant to push back opposing forces. They are commonly found being ridden by a Drakanian.
Corite
The Corite is a fierce attacker, passing through the ground to reach and destroy those who oppose the Solar Army. They can envelop themselves in fire as well, making them tough to slay.
Sroller
These lumbering constructs will search for individuals, flinging themselves at them to help protect their source of energy, the Solar Pillar. They curl up into a ball, their spikes cutting into the skin of an enemy.
Crawltipede
The Crawltipede is a force that ensures the takeover of the Solar Army. These worm-like creatures will linger in the air until someone who is fighting back starts flying, when they charge at them. Their only weak spot is their tail orb.
Opticae

The Opticae are a race of humanoids, where their features usually differ. They are the main species of the planet of Suessen. The singular noun is Optican.
Seuessen

The planet of Suessen is the homeland of the Opticae, and where Srollers and Solar Pillars are formed. It was created by the Moon Lord to house the power of Solar.
