The underground desert is one of the most dangerous biomes in hard mode. Despite this, you have almost no reason to go there, with the only loot being a basilisk mount, the spirit flame, and vanity.
So I’m suggesting an interesting accessory that would (hopefully) make people go there more.
Rosetta’s Stone:
Dropped by most hardmode underground desert enemies at a 2% chance
Removes enemies immunities to DOT and armor penetration debuffs (basically every debuff except confusion) (Does NOT apply to bosses)
This could potentially be over/underpowered, since it’s seems kinda hard to balance, but I think it would be a cool accessory.

This would be very underpowered, but that's not necessarily a problem. How often do you actually want to put a debuff on an enemy that isn't a boss or miniboss, and how often is that enemy immune to that debuff, and how often does that debuff really move the needle for you anyway? I personally can't think of any situations I would really seek out this item. However, it's definitely a cool effect, and that's honestly enough for me. Not every accessory needs to be powerful. If I had this item and (somehow) a free accessory slot, I might put it on just for fun.
If you wanted it to be stronger, you could let it affect bosses and minibosses. The most you're really getting out of that is a small amount of extra damage on Destroyer or maybe a Paladin, so it's hardly a big deal.

I would probably use this if it was tinkered with something interesting too, honestly. Might help to make it more relevant.

The main reason I didn’t have it affect bosses is because piercing weapons with DOT debuffs do insane damage against worm enemies, so it would be somewhat overpowered on destroyer (if the accessory did work on destroyer it would genuinely make flare gun with cursed flares a somewhat viable weapon against it) and it would be kinda weird for it to affect every boss except for one.
Though yeah it should definitely affect minibosses, there arent really any of them where debuffs would really affect things all that much.

Thing is, destroyer is shredded to pieces almost instantaneously by everything with more than 3 pierce on-tier (which is good, it has some of the worst attack patterns in the game), so I don’t think it’s worth balancing around unless it gets redesigned from scratch. Maybe have it give you some armor penetration. Just 5 or 10 would be enough to make this quite balanced, maybe a bit OP though.
