Other A minor torch suggestion for Terraria 1.3.6:

Hey TCF, I have a very minor suggestion regarding torches in Terraria.

So, you guys know how torches sometimes attach to blocks / certain background objects (wooden beams come to mind. On a side note, wooden beams for other wood types would be great to see! Crafted the same way as ordinary wooden beams).

Ahem, my apologies for getting off track. Anyways, my suggestion is to allow you to place torches however you want! To place torches against blocks / background objects as right now, simply left click (just as before) to place the torch in the desired area! However, right would now place torches up-right, just like you see them when they are placed on back walls, or just on solid blocks (on the ground).

EDIT: As always, torches can still be removed with right click, just as before.

A better idea would be to keep it all left click but to place them on blocks you would have to point at the block itself and not the space next to it.

Then how do you specify which side of the block it should place on?

I don't think that would be very intuitive, simply adding a right click function would be much easier for the user anyways.
