Also, to balance this set, the number of enhanced effects (+70% effectiveness and + 50% duration) is limited to three. To make the enhanced effects different from the standard ones, they will have a gold-plated frame.
Now you've just made it worthless. 1.7x the potency of only 3 potion effects is basically never going to be worth your entire armour set, especially one without any defense of its own.

I also have an idea to add a "star protection mode" to this kit. It switches in the same way as the "invisibility mode" in the "vortex armor". Entering this mode, all effect boosts are canceled, in return, all the power of the player's equipment will be used to absorb damage from 1 negative effects applied to it.
Thus, the timer of the negative effect will be accelerated three times.
This is also terrible, you cancel out extremely weak boost the armour is giving you for to lessen the effect of one single debuff, which aside from Cursed and Silenced (both of which are very rarely inflicted to begin with), are only a minor inconvenience to the player.

Perhaps then in the "star defense" mode the player would receive 6 units of defense and a threefold acceleration of the timer of one debuff or a twofold acceleration of the timer of two debuffs.Also, when amortizing debuffs, priority will be given to effects that deal damage to the terrarian.
When I was planning this, the first thing I thought about was the powerful poisoning effect of the hornet stings in Expert and Master mode.

Limiting it to 3 effects makes this armor set FAR less interesting. People will just use Ironskin + Regeneration + Summoning/Magic Power/Archery/Ale, and there will be no excitement from finding random potions in chests anymore because they'll be useless 95% of the time. Also, being forced to consume potions in a specific order to enhance the ones you want sounds really annoying, and I assume that this is how it will work because anything else would be even more annoying and unintuitive.

You don't need a separate "star defense" mode, you can just make the set passively decrease debuff durations at all times. The only difference is that you don't have to give up your buff enhancements for like 10 seconds while curing your debuff, and that amount of time is basically nothing.

I can't stress this enough: if someone tells you that your idea is unbalanced, don't change anything until they explain why.

Then it might be worth limiting the number of boosts to 5 buffs (+70% effectiveness and 40% duration). The protection of the kit is still 0.How about the "star defender" mode adds 12 units of protection, and, in addition to the above-described system for accelerating debuff timers, this mode would pause all buffs, affecting the attack and defense characteristics of the Terrarian?
This would allow you to somewhat save the effectiveness of potions, for example in PvP, when you want to save the power of existing buffs until the next battle. Whatever happens with these balance edits, I'll be drawing a sprite for this kit the next day. It was very nice that people reacted to this post.

No. the original effect of the set as stated in the OP, is fine enough (double effects and same duration) EXSPESSAILY with no defense

I wouldn't mind the set making all of the potions last 10 minutes too (except for Builder), just for quality of life. The potions are the stats of this armour, and having them all fall off at different times sounds annoying.

A BRIEF DIGRESSION FOR THE " SPEEDRUNNERS OF THE FORUM"

This new set with zero protection is capable enhance the effect power of most potions consumed.
( Potion effect effectiveness and duration have been increased by 70% and 50% respectively ).
It will be created from new ore generated on the flying lake. The ore can only be mined if the player has at least 200 mana.

3) More decorations for the floating lake. It looks pretty boring compared to the floating island.
2) Now, the floating lake will have value not only for anglers and the player will have a reason to return to this place later to mine ore.

I was thinking about it again, if this set needed a "star protection mode." Since: I have not yet come up with an animation for this mode, and I have another idea of implementing a stop of the active effects and this set can be obtained before the boss, I agree that this set of armor does not need a star defense mode.
