That's an odd combination if you ask me, they both are for different means and are hardly needed simultaniously.
If you're playing casual, then it's fine to swap out a combat accessoire for it.

I'm against this idea simply because it would mean that optimising one's fishing power would require *4* accessories to be equipped to account for all the different editions of the Angler's Earring that would be floating around at that point.
