Even with the regeneration cut in half, the breastplate will probably still be a decent survivability option for classes that don't get anything better. 240 health over 60 seconds? That's still pretty great; it's better healing over time than Super Healing Potions. Sadly it takes up the same slot as the newly-buffed Spooky Breastplate.
I'm kinda happy that the Spectre Mask is being buffed, but it's kinda funny that they're buffing armor sets that no one seemed to realize were bad (Spectre Mask, Solar armor) and nerfing things that no one seemed to realize were good (Forbidden Treads). We'll see what kind of creative things people can come up with, but overall, it looks like hybridization is going to be in a much worse spot than before, which is a bit of a shame, really.

Interesting thing. Adamantite Helm + Frost Chest and Legs has higher defense and better damage than all the other pre-mech boss melee armor sets. So armor set mixing is still viable even tho it was nerfed.
