Xbox One Absolutely no Sky Blue Flowers

So I’m somewhat new to 1.3 on console since I’ve only played old-Gen Terraria on my 360 and a small bit of PC Terraria until a few weeks ago. Anyways, I’ve flattened out roughly 2/3 of my jungle and I check back often, clearing out all the bushes, flowers, grass, all that. It’s been about 12 irl hours total of playtime and I haven’t seen a single Sky Blue Flower. I’ve made sure none are hiding behind tree branches, and all that. Is this glitch or am I just plain unlucky?

Y’know it probably is my luck since my friend has found 4 coin portals already. Me? None. Anyways thanks in advance for help!

This would have to be just luck. My initial thought was that sky blue flowers didn't spawn too far underground and that you flattened the area too low, but the wiki says they can spawn underground, so it has to be bad luck. I still only find about 5 per game though, so maybe it's normal luck.
