OOC Abyssal Grotto (OOC)

Because I'm insane, I'm going to offer 4 characters. You simply pick the one you want me to use.
Name: Nesanica
Species: Dragon...?
Gender: We are not sacrificing someone to find out.
Appearance: A strange draconic figure, violet in color. All manner of runes are carved into the neck, and the body itself is seemingly made of an entirely different material than the head, despite both being scale-like.
Items/Equipment: None.
Abilities: Dulled Existence: Nesanica being observed is enough to dull one's perception of reality, resulting in symptoms not unlike sleep-deprivation.
Call to Dreams: With a yawn, Nesanica belts out a powerful pulse of sleep magic. It does not seem to have control over this.
Rest of Darkness: Anyone who falls asleep under Nesanica's influence suffers horrific nightmares.
Shattered Veil: Should Nesanica ever be awoken, they enter an unrelenting rampage, becoming nigh unstoppable. Fortunately, they rarely do, and rarely for long.
Weaknesses: Nesanica is always in a deep slumber. Despite this, they are capable of movement and action.
Text Color: 1ABC9C
Name: Levri

Gender: Male...?

Species: Was human, once...

Appearance: A corpse given life. The eyes sunken and black, hair greasy and matted down along the skull. Several various cuts and other injuries dot their face that no longer heals. They wear the tattered remains of an old black jacket, with an equally damaged navy-green shirt and beige pants. On their right wrist is a band of some kind, a simple wooden bauble depicting a viper on it.

Personality (Optional): Despite being undead... they are still themself. Still wanting to make people happy do they get through the hell of today. Still trying his hardest to help.

Equipment: What he had was given away long ago.

Abilities: As befitting a zombie, his body has stopped all natural processes typically associated with life. In addition, he no longer feels pain (or at least, a heavily reduced amount), and can push his body to limits without care for damage that might cause. He can, of course, infect another with his bite, but he'll never do that.

Strengths: Can laugh at anything that messes with biological functions, since he doesn't have any anymore.

Weaknesses: He's still a corpse, so naturally he's not hard to put down. To any outside perspective, he still looks and sounds like a zombie, so communication for him is... difficult. More refined motor control is no longer possible, at least, without extreme effort. Still feels the zombie urge to consume other people, despite how much he doesn't want to.

Extra: Whenever he says something I'll still write what he's actually saying, but to everyone else it's typical zombie noises.

Name: Unknown

Nickname/Alias: The Knights (collective), Big Knight, Little Knight, Littler Knight (individual)

Gender: Male?

Species: Human?

Appearance:
A trio of Knights, all dressed in traditional knight armor. Each have a insignia of a large green eye on the inside of their left hand, and a circle cracking into multiple pieces on their back. The Knights themselves are all of various Heights, with Littler Knight being the tallest, and Big Knight being the shortest.

Personality: you know the traditional knight stereotypical personality that gets parodied to hell and back nowadays? Crank that up to 11 and then some.

Equipment/Tools: Each of the Knights wields a different weapon. Big Knight carries a claymore (which is bigger than him), Little Knight wields a trident, and Littler Knight has a combination of a chainsaw and a battleaxe.

Abilities/Magic: Each of the Knights has one trait.
Big Knight: Can temporarily become even bigger than Littler Knight. His claymore grows to match.
Little Knight: Can help lessen the strain on the other Knight's abilities, letting them use theirs longer.
Littler Knight: Can temporarily make his opponent smaller than Big Knight. Is passively stronger against people shorter than him, scaling with the difference.

Strengths: Immense sense of camaraderie, so they'll never turn on each other. Their powersets, while goofy, compliment each other well, and they have learned some devastating combo moves. Have all seemingly been enchanted to some level, as they can take far more punishment then what should be possible.

Weaknesses: If one Knight falls, the other 2 do as well. Not very liked by people due to their personalities, and they seem to be cursed to get constantly put in situations that feel ripped out of cartoons

Height: 4'0 (Big Knight), 5'5 (Little Knight), 6'8 (Littler Knight), 9'1 (Big Knight using size altering)

Text Colour: 123456
First Name or Nickname: Harler

Gender: ...Yes

Age: Unknown

Personality: Very possessive of their stuff. Definitely has kleptomania and will fight God over a shiny rock.

Species: Monster (Ghost)

Speech Font/color: Courier New

Appearance: A large collection of flowers and vines, in a similar appearance to the Swamp Monster from Avatar the Last Airbender. Scattered amongst the flora is what most would consider garbage; empty cases, broken pencils, things like that. Where the head should be, a Roman Comedy mask is there, one large crack running through the middle.

Magic: When within their body, plant-based magic and healing magic. When outside of it, lightning magic.

Skills/Abilities: Due to not being fused with their body, can leave it in case of emergency (good luck making them though), very good at stealing things (don't ask), and despite their... odd choices in collection, can actually give good estimates on things value.

Strengths/Weaknesses: While outside their body, is immune to any and all physical attack; likewise, hitting them with magic absolutely ruins them.
Kleptomania is not a good trait to have. I don't think more needs to be said.
While within their body, comically slow. Fortunately, they can just grab you with vines at pull you close.
Does not seem to understand the concept of lying.
I added Nesanica to the list so you may deploy her into either group whenever you want, though you can tell me at any point if you want to add one of the others too.

I'm fine going in whichever group has the fewer people

Name: II-LT

Gender: Masculine

Age (Optional): Weathered

Species: Machine

Appearance:
1718828097938.png

A thinly built, slightly rusted, copper colored machine. It stands at roughly 4 feet tall. It's limbs are thin and it generally seems very weakly armored. Instead of legs, the machine runs on a single gyroscopic fat tire. Its lenses have tiny green dots in the middle of them.

Personality (Optional): Cautious, extremely cautious. Generally friendly.

Height (Optional):

3'11

Weight (Optional):

80-ish pounds.

Equipment:

Being a class-two landmass terraformer, II-LT is equipped with pretty simple tools. These tools are specialized for the machine's job.. being an industrial-grade janitor.

II-LT has a steel-framed mop, and a bucket that extends from its back to wring out and dampen said mop with cleaner.

It also has ways to disperse cleaner across various surfaces.

Abilities:

RESURFACING: II-LT fills and then ejects its cleaner tank, shooting a stream of moderately strong acid from its head. This acid, if successfully hitting a target, will lower their defense roll by 0.5 for the rest of the combat encounter. This stacks up to 3 times for a grand total of -1.5 to every defensive roll for the entire fight.

MOPPING: II-LT can stall until reaching a net roll total of 20, then executing a dash with its mop to the ground, creating a slick trail behind itself and adding a temporary -1 to any targets hit, this lasts for 2 defensive rolls on hit targets.
CLEANCLEANCLEANCLEANCLEAN-: Upon seeing an enemy wounded, II-LT will gain a passive +1 to all attacks against them, as they are a mess to be dealt with, obviously.
RESUPPLYING, PLEASE WAIT: II-LT will receive a - 5 to it's next defensive roll after taking 3 hits. The machine's weak frame means it will go into a state of overload upon receiving even several light hits. It cannot attack during this weakened period.

Strengths:

Crowd control, minor buffs and debuffs, melee combat.

Weaknesses:

Glass-cannon..ish, generally not incredibly strong physically. Primitive.

Extras (Optional):

Due to a broken speech module, II-LT can only speak in vowels.

Backstory (Optional):

(MADE IN COLLABORATION WITH SHOVEL)

Greengate had a junk problem. A whole planet of it. Compressed, crushed, flattened, burned, melted, it all piled up nonetheless.

Seeing the very grave threat of the slum planet.. running out of room to dump random :red: in, several thousand repurposed machines were sent to the planet to figure out how to solve the junk problems..

Of the several dozen machines that weren't destroyed within days was one particular, unimportant unit, who happened to come across a somehow very much intact wormhole device.

More accurately, the wormhole device rolled down a mound of trash, barreling over the unit, leaving not even a speck of it behind as it reached the bottom of the mound, shattering from the impact.

Oh well, it was just one unit anyways. I'm sure it's somewhere better now.

I will say the complexity of the attack mechanics might not translate 100% perfectly IC, but this seems more or less fine.
Put it in group A to avoid too much overlap with group B characters.

Name: Sorin, Wolfwolloh, Caervea, Torvo

Gender: Male, male, female, male

Age (Optional):

Species: Elf, elf, elf, elf

Appearance: They wear a red cloak, something comparable to a cotehardie (which is brown), brown pants, boots, and gloves. They also have a backpack that I imagine looking similar to Fone Bone’s (a comic book character that anyone else may or may not know of). Wolfwolloh in particular likes wearing a comically large pointy wizard hat too. Their bodies look as if they are composed of thick water vapor; even their hair. Sorin is tall-ish and looks very Legolas-esque. Wolfwolloh is short and has curly hobbit hair. Caervea is relatively average in height with straight, nearly waist-length hair. Torvo is easily the tallest and has straight hair no longer than Wolfwolloh’s. He also, notably, has a very wide and menacing smile.

Personality (Optional): Sorin is fairly serious, yet he does goofy things sometimes. He does not see them as goofy, however. Wolfwolloh is a bit whimsical. Caervea is withdrawn. Torvo is a bit too into killing for his own good…

Equipment: Wizard Staff, Sword, Magic book.

Abilities: The magic book can do a lot of things, from shooting fireballs to making loud sounds to summoning temporary weapons (specifically medieval weapons). Wolfwolloh can use his staff for some basic magic without relying on the book, like shooting cool magic beams™.

Strengths: Fairly versatile in what they can do. Also, if they die, they aren’t exactly dead, unless you were to destroy a certain magical token.

Weaknesses: Despite their versatility, they are inconsistent, due to the fact that none of them really know how to use the magic book effectively. They also don’t have any more durability than a regular human (aside from being able to come back from the dead.)

Extras (Optional): So, now for the real gimmick here. Only one of these characters can exist at a time. If one of them is “killed” or goes to sleep—or it can even happen randomly depending on where they are—their misty body will dissipate, leaving behind a certain magical token, and one of the other three characters will soon take their place. Also, conveniently, their clothes always fit, somehow.

Backstory (Optional): These four elves were once free, but in an attempt to stop the vile King Daniel from unleashing ancient evil forces of evil that are evilly cliche, their souls became trapped within a certain magical token. Now they are searching for a way to free themselves, trying to unlock the secrets of a certain magical book in hopes it will contain what they are looking for.

It may be a bit of a stretch to throw something like this out there, so I am willing to pivot.

Accepted, at this point I don't care what group people want to be in, just know that group B ended up being larger and more active than group A.

Out Of Character.
This kind of thread is more for organisational things regarding In Character (IC) RP’ing.

Vitrolic Medicine
Gender: Female
Age (Optional): ~20s
Species: Batpony

Appearance:
index.php

Personality (Optional): Mostly carefree and scaredy around wilderness. Possibly a pony that suddenly gets serious when injuries are made to someone who she doesn't need to know well. Certainly acts like a shady snake oil salesmare when sickness isn't serious.

Equipment: A saddlebag (size of a satchel) with her doctor goods.
Abilities: Echolocation, flight and her healthcare skills.

Strengths: Being a batpony, she's certainly adapted to low-light environments. A lot more dextrous. Maybe not on par with an unicorn wielding with telekinesis, but she certainly is able to finely manipulate everything using her muzzle or in need, wings.

Weaknesses: Besides pony-specific quirks, she's a scaredy pony around large animals, and is not the one to fight anyone either unless really forced to. And even then, even if she knows anyone would cruelly repay her for her kindness, she would help if the situation is grave. Yes, she's this naive.

Extras (Optional):

Backstory (Optional):

Text Color: #501070

Theme (Optional):
Fun fact: Because of Trusty's rebirth into a phoenix (so far in a shared body with Essentia), the total would be one mythical creature, one human, one batpony and one alien with radiation affinity.

He's unbanned, that's good news.
Bad news, he's not willing to go back to TCF for a good while.

Your character is still with MD-AAS and Nogent, so ideally you could be helping them fight or something. I'd say if you don't want to you don't have to do anything, but you're unironically one of the most active people in my RP (yes even though all you do is make OOC comments on doing nothing) so like, I don't know what to tell you?
