Other Accessibility options for sight impaired and blind players

I have two different suggestions, here, but both are about things that would be very useful accessibility settings. I'm partially blind (very little sight on my right, specifically), and LOVE playing ranger, but due to my impairment I frequently have issues with aiming, especially at any enemies on my right. I understand why this is likely not already an option, however as I play console some kinda aim related mod isn't really an option, and some kinda enemy-lock-on, or aim guiding, or some kinda setting like that would make my life much easier. There's already weapons with homing projectiles, but these are unavailable for quite a chunk of the game to my understanding. (I still haven't got one myself in my current run). I feel like this wouldn't just help those with sight impairments, even though that's my reasoning for suggesting this - I have a friend with dyspraxia and he would benefit too, among others.

Another thing that has came to my attention is that a few biome backgrounds - in particular the overworld desert and snow biomes - are rather bright. I am aware there's an option to turn them off fully, but I find most rather pretty, and would rather not remove them all. Something like a slider to adjust the brightness of them would be more useful, I think, as I don't want them to not exist at all, I just can't really deal with being in the overworld snow/desert for very long, which has lead to me mainly avoiding them unless they're not pure. Being able to turn down the brightness of them the tiniest little bit would mean I could play for longer and build houses wherever, without taking away the backgrounds entirely. Photophobia isn't that uncommon, either, so I think a little slider could benefit quite a few people out there.
Sorry if the formatting/spelling is bad or if I'm overlooking preexisting settings without realising but well... this post is inspired by my visual impairment, lol. Also my first time posting here, made my account just for this.

good news on the lock on part; that does actually exist on both pc and console. the only issue is that you need a controller for it, it's not an option for mouse and keyboard. it could also use some refinement, as it simply targets the enemy closest to the cursor, which can screw you over royally

Ah! Wasn't aware of that, but if you're saying it needs improvement, then it's good it's being brought up, I guess. Plus I've spent quite a bit of time wading around the menus, maybe it's not named clearly/explained well enough in there for me to have noticed?

if you play on the mouse and keyboard, there's no option for setting a keybind for it, it only shows up for the controller keybind map. if i remember correctly, the keybind option is just called "lock-on"
