Weapons & Equip Accessories for certain armor effects

Torch God
Title says it, here's my ideas:
Stardust Watch
10 Luminite and 10 Stardust fragments
Summons the Stardust Guardian behind you. When used with Stardust Armor, gives the Stardust Guardian a Stardust Guardian when it isnt attacking (purely visual).
"ZA WARUDO!"

Solar Aegis
10 Luminite and 10 Solar Fragments
Creates a Solar Shield when equipped in the vanity slot. You can right click this item to cycle between shield tiers.

Nebula Energy Stabilizer
10 Luminite and 10 Nebula Fragments
Creates Nebula Booster's energy to swirl around you. You can right click it while holding it to pull up a visual menu, which lets you select what boosters you want to see when its equipped in the vanity slot.

Shroomtex Cloaking Device
10 Shroomite bars, 10 Vortex Fragments
Allows you to become invisible when double tapping down when equipped in the vanity slot.

Pharaoh's Sigil
1 Forbidden Fragment and 10 Adamantite/Titanium bars
Summons a Forbidden Sigil behind you. When used with Forbidden armor, the vanity sigil circles below the tornado summoned by the armor's sigil.

Crystallized Plant Matter
12 Chlorophyte Bars
Summons a Sims Chlorophyte Crystal on the players head when equipped in the vanity slot. If used with Chlorophyte armor, there are two crystals, one above and one below the player. They circle around the player slowly. The vanity one doesn't attack.
"Its all a simulation!"

Ancient Cassette Tape
30 wire, 10 glass, and 5 lead or iron bars.
Creates afterimages of the player when equipped.
"A relic of many years ago."

Stardust Watch
Summons the Stardust Guardian to fight alongside you. When placed in vanity, it still summons the Guardian, but it doesn't attack. When used with Stardust armor, the Guardian's punches can freeze foes.

Solar Aegis
Allows you to charge up the Solar armor's shield, but it can only go up to level 2. If used with Solar armor, its shield stays at Level 3 at all times. If in the vanity slot, it will instead become a full size solar shield, but it would do nothing.

Nebula Energy Stabilizer
Allows boosters to occasionally spawn when hitting foes (about a 1/4 chance each hit). These boosters can only go to level 2. When used with Nebula armor, it instead makes it possible for multiple boosters to appear on a single hit, up to 3 at a 5% chance. You can right click it while holding it to pull up a visual menu, which lets you select what boosters you want to see when its equipped in the vanity slot.

Shroomtex Cloaking Device
Allows you to become invisible at will, greatly reducing aggro (or just making you visually invisible when placed in the vanity slot). When used with Shroomite armor, it lets you stay in stealth mode for 7 seconds after moving out of it. When used with Vortex armor, it decreases the movement penalty of Stealth mode by 45%.

Pharaoh's Sigil
Allows you to summon an Ancient Tornado when double tapping down. If used with Forbidden Armor, it instead buffs the Tornado to infinitely pierce, and only fade away after 20 seconds or the player places another tornado.

Crystallized Plant Matter
Summons a Sims Chlorophyte Crystal on the players head. If used with Chlorophyte armor, there are two crystals, one above and one below the player. They circle around the player slowly.

what about the afterimage effects of many hardmode armors? accessories for those would be nice too

ooo, I like these ideas a lot! I see potential to use these in No Weapons runs for even dumber builds.
(If this doesn't get into vanilla I might try to mod it in at least partially if you don't mind me adding it to my main mod (while also making a standalone version with just these items and none of the stuff from my main project)?)

yeah, lemme see what i can think of for that.

Added Ancient Cassette Tape

Since you seem to have a "if you have both upgrade it" theme I'd like to throw in some ideas for the other two Lunar armor sets' improved bonuses
Nebula: Buffs never go below level 1/2 (don't know which is balanced)
Vortex: No/less mobility loss while stealthed

i am only going for the ones with visuals...
hey wait a minute both of those have visual effects
yeah sure ill add em

Added Nebula Energy Stabilizer and Shroomtex Cloaking Device

i feel like @Asternove may not have liked this recipe, but eh
it makes sense
I think it's fine, it still fits the theme due to Vortex Armor giving the stealth mode and all, meaning it fits thematically in every way I can think of

thanks
i originally was going to make it Vortex only but then i remembered Shroomite also had stealth
so it naturally progressed to that

Wrong fragment.

Besides that, I do think your ideas are fine. The only problem I have with this suggestion is that it feels too modded, you know? Like, all these ideas are cool, but they don't really "fit in" with the rest of the game, where accessories and armor effects are separated. This also doesn't really enhance Terraria in any way, it's just a bunch of items thrown around for no real reason.

I don't see why people always say something feels "too modded." Like I get it if it has a completely unique swing animation or particle effect like most calamity weapons but I feel like these items are fine and would mostly just be a small QoL addition

Also everyone's like "There's too much bloat in the game!!!!!!" Ok, lets remove every single vanity item, block without a non-vanity function, and weapon not crafted or dropped by a boss. Have fun with your unbloated shoebox houses and zenith components

A "small QOL addition" is something like removing negative torch luck. This is 6 accessories. The reason why I feel like this idea is "too modded" is explained in my original post. Terraria doesn't have armor effects that translate into accessories (there's not really much groundwork for it either), so this idea just feels like it shouldn't be in vanilla, where most additions build off of one another. You don't necessarily have to follow this criteria if there's a good enough reason to add so and so to the game, but with this idea, there isn't one.

That's not what I said at all. What I meant is that we shouldn't add items in the game if they don't impact Terraria in any way. This suggestion just adds more content, it doesn't fill a void or enhance an aspect of the game. It doesn't have to if it's a small idea (like a vanity item), but this is six accessories.

I know, I was just talking about all the Steam bluds on SOTG that call everything bloat

Ohh. A bit weird to say that on this thread and my comment of all things, but sure.
