If an actuated platform is above a non-actuated hammered 'platform shaped block' and the player tries to stand on the hammered platform the player clips through the floor. This also prevents the player from walking onto the platform normally as with other 'stairs'

Details:
-The lower platform must be a hammered 'platform shaped block' and not an actual platform
-The upper platform may be either

My guess would be that it's treating it as a whole block and spazzing out because the player is inside it.

Also please note that the spazzing is a lot more hectic than in the gif, it's just low FPS so I could upload it.

Thanks,

Yeah, it may be. Although, I have have never made one either (just seen them on youtube) I think they work by pushing the player out of a block they are in using sloped pieces. In this you just fall through. So it may be diffeent, but I am probably wrong.

Half platforms can cause a hoik effect too. My friend used to use such an effect to make glitchy elevators before either of us knew what hoik was.
