Weapons & Equip Add a Hard Mode Upgrade to the Sand Gun

Paper_

Terrarian
It's been asked for a thousand times, and here is my take on it:

Name: "Super Sandgun" (reference to the super star shooter and Doom's Super Shotgun)

Recipe: 1 Sand Gun, 1 Forbidden Fragment, 1 Tactical Shotgun, 14 Spectre Bars, 10 Souls of Night. At a Mythril or Orichalcum Anvil.

Shoots 10 chunks of sand in a cone, the sand's property changing depending on the type.

DIfferent Sand's Effects:
Sand: Pierces one enemy (Other Sand Types inherit this effect unless stated otherwise)
Corrupt Sand: Shoots 4 larger chunks of sand in a narrow cone that move faster and deal 2.5x damage.
Crimson Sand: Sand Sticks to enemies instead of bleeding and Inflict a Stacking Debuffs (much like the daybreak, but weaker)
Hallowed Sand: has Slight homing and deals 20% more damage.

(I haven't a clue of what the actual numbers would be, but this feels right)

Attached is a (Rather Crude) drawing of what it might look like.

Feel free to give constructive criticism!

- The most obvious and appropriate name for this weapon is "Sandblaster"
- Remove Tactical Shotgun from the recipe, it's too valuable to be sacrificed for a niche weapon like this
- It makes sense for this to be desert-themed, so keep the Forbidden Fragment in the recipe, but Ectoplasm makes no thematic sense so remove it. If this is meant to be post-Plantera, replace it with Nanites. (i don't think it needs to be post-Plantera though)

Why? I don't see how this name is appropriate.

This weapon feels a bit more magic than tech based imo, but nanites are underused so sure.

Saturn Sandblaster
“Knock 3 times”

The stats themselves are fine tbh but as bacon said remove the tactical shotgun forbidden fragments souls of night and spectre bars are fine

how about calling it the "Sandstormgun" or the "Desert-Maker"

Wait, there's a pressing question that needs to be answered. If this shoots 10 chunks of sand at once, do they all turn into sand blocks when they land? Does this weapon multiply your sand blocks by 10?

Maybe one gets turned to sand and the other nine don't? Or better yet, no sand becomes a block when they land. The latter would make the weapon less fun though.

Nah 9 of them expire upon hitting the ground only one actually stays
