tModLoader AlchemistNPC v9.0

thats your choice I only asked the dust and crystals because theyre potion ingredients, I would ask about pillar fragments but thats too much in my opinion but on a separated note do you think you can make an npc that sells the gems, called jewer because I use crystilium and some weapons required all gems and when I mean all gems that also includes the forgotten "Amber".

I actually would like to have a Jeweler considering I play with mods that require a LOT of gems *cough* magic storage *cough*

Also, I believe the alchemist sells the Greater Healing Potions once you defeat all mech bosses, so there isnt any point for pixie dust and crystals to be sold.

do you have nightmares unleashed (true eater) mod, because the full restore Its way better than calamity omega potion, and has 1 of the 3 materials needed to make the potion its the dust and you can make it after the moon lord.

Ahh, I don't play with that mod so I wouldn't know the uses for it :p

But it would be useful for certain other recipes like Holy Arrows.

Maybe, maybe... Pillar Fragments are definetly too much. But Jeweler is a nice idea. He/She will sell Jewels, Rings, Bands as the character progresses. What do you think about?

thats why I said that pillar frags are too much.

As long that other players like the idea or have something to add about what other things he/she sell. You have my likes.

You could have the Jeweler sell rings that increase a stat. Like ruby ring increases damage by 7% or something.

Hm, I already thinked about this... Sure, why not. 50 silver per 1 for Dust, 75 silver per 1 for Crystal Shards? Of course at Alchemist's Shop in Hardmode.
Edit: What about Ichor/Cursed Flames?

Now, what about Alchemy components?
Having the Teacher Alchemist sell materials meant for the Alchemy class after being both Skeletron and The Night of the Undead

And lastly - there's a Item idea of mine:
"Serum of ---"
These Potions give you different buffs depending on the Biome you're in and the Materials used.
Daybloom - Forest/Spirit = Spirit Mod - Gives the "Happy" Buff
Moonglow - Jungle - Gives extra Magic Power and Mana Regen Rate
Waterleaf - Desert/Beach/Aquatic Depths = Thorium Mod - Gives Knockback immunity and ability to swim in water
Silverthorn - Ice/Glacier = Tremor Mod - Negates "Frozen", "Chilled", and "Frostburn" Debuffs, and ability to breath in water
Blinkroot - Caves/Mushroom - Gives Shine, Mining, and Defensive buffs
Deathweed - Crimson/Corruption/Hallow - Gives Inferno and Thorns buffs, with added Calm buff in the Hallow

HallowKingjerold maybe this is something you want to post in the tremor thread rather on here, because were discussing about a "jewerly NPC" so Im sure zadum would like or consider your idea in first place if its something "related to the alchemy attack".

Biome dependencies... Never tried to use them. This could be interesting to try.
About Tremor mod components like Tears of Death... Definetly can be added at next update. Farming them is a pain.

I already saw that concept in other mod (not sure what the actual mod). But I think I can do this...

40K anniversary.

If there is any questions, why Jeweler and Merchant looks pretty much the same... They are twin brothers.

I would prefer a similar of the dye trader (one likes dyes so one of jewels dont you think)rather of the merchant in my opinion.

edit: in wich part of the game the jeweler sells rubys Ive defeated the eye and eater of worlds?

Amethysts & Topazes are avaible just after spawning of NPC.
Amber, Sapphires and Emeralds with Band of Starpower and Band of Regeneration are avaible after beating EoW/BoC.
Rubies, Diamonds and Opals are avaible in Jeweler's shop after beating Skeletron.
I think this is fair because Amber stats are near to Ruby.
Lapis Lazuli is avaible after beating Moon Lord.
Don't know about Dye Trader... I thought about 1 twin is tried to sell everything (Merchant) and other (Jeweler) tried to specialise in Jewelry.
Maybe I will try to redesign him later.
Also, if anyone wants to ask... I didn't add rings because there are already Jewel rings in Thorium Mod.

...I was hoping for some Night of the Undead requirements and new items meant for Tremode.

I wasn't 100% sure if I need to add Rupicide and other things... There is not so much free space in NPC's... Although, Jeweler has a nice amount of it. So, maybe in the next update.

well you can do the same thing like in fargos mod add another shop on the npc.

I would suggest this NPC:
"The Maiden"
The Moon Lord, reformed into a maiden, joins you once you defeat the Moon Lord. She speaks of "An amazing Substance" (Alchemy Ingredients), and shows regret for facing you. Also, if "The Lunitic" Mod is enabled, she'll ask him to shut up, his incarnating words being akin to an loud alarm clock (An reference to Cthulhu saves the World, where an worshiper tries to wake up Cthulhu, where he'll state he's already up)
The Maiden sells Tremode Items.

I dont want to know why make the moon "lord" reformed into a "maiden", but dont you think that suggest the tremode items to be sell would be a terrible idea on another mod when the npc "lady moon" from tremor can sell this if you ask zadum to sell them when the trinity has been defeated.

I suggested an boss who spawns an mimic of the Dryad to Tremor.
I feel like -some- arguments are more or less invalid, that being the whole gender swap.
...then have a progression system for such a thing, let her only gain more Tremode Alchemy Items for every Tremode boss you kill, finalizing with the Trinity.

Actually, I thhink that your idea partially was added to Tremor mod. Like the Wall of Shadows kills Dryad on spawn.
Also, could you give me list of items to add in shops? I am not quite remember them all.
P.S: I don't think that Maiden is a good idea, cuz Lady Moon is already existed.
