PS4 All worlds are small?

so i have the ps4 version and the xbox 360 version and noticed that the ps4 worlds are kind of a lot smaller then the 360 ones. i would say they are probably half the size, whats up with that? i had heard the worlds were supposed to be 3 times the size.

There are 3 different world sizes you can select from "Small", "Medium", and "Large" when creating a new world. These are the same sizes for all consoles. The "3x larger worlds!" announcements were misquotes/misinterpretations of the announcement that next gen Terraria would have 3x the amount of content as the original console releases. This was slightly misleading, but they were stating that next gen would be released with the 1.2 content that 360 and PS3 already had but didn't have upon their initial releases.
